Despite Princess Kate’s absence from the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade as she continues her recovery from abdominal surgery, the soldiers of the Irish Guards are sending their best wishes and paying tribute to their regimental Colonel Kate Middleton.
Traditionally, Princess Kate and Prince William have attended the holiday parade together, with Princess Kate issuing shamrocks to the guards to pin on their uniforms. However, this year, Lady Ghika, wife of the Regimental Lieutenant Colonel, will carry out this duty on behalf of Princess Kate.
During the celebratory parade at Mons Barracks in Hampshire, the Irish Guards will honor Princess Kate with three cheers and heartfelt wishes for her swift recovery. Despite her absence, Princess Kate remains in the thoughts of the guards, who deeply appreciate her commitment and support.
